Writer-director Bo Burnham’s EIGHTH GRADE explores the middle school experience through the eyes of Elsie Fisher’s introverted teen, who worries that the disappointments of junior high will continue the next fall in high school.
Also, Mark Pfeiffer and Paul Markoff add to the Filmbound Canon, which are their personal collections of all-time great films released beginning in 1995. Mark selects Whit Stillman’s 1998 comedy THE LAST DAYS OF DISCO starring Chloë Sevigny and Kate Beckinsale. Paul admires the silliness and weirdness of Gore Verbinski’s RANGO.
